Lucy lawless is an acclaimed New Zealand born actress, television personality and singer who gained global recognition by portraying the central character of the hugely successful television series “Xena: the Warrior Princess”. Lawless had also been a part of the critically acclaimed television show “Battlestar Galactica” for 4 years essaying the role of a reporter. In 1997 the artist was listed by the People Weekly magazine as one of the “50 most beautiful people in the World.” Lucy also had a fair run of success in her music career when her singing stage debut became a record hit (5 years back). The actress’s multiple talents have enabled her to hit pay dirt and have turned her into a very wealthy woman with a net worth of 15 million USD. Lucy’s acting prowess enabled her to bag lucrative film and television assignments. The last 5 years has turned out to be even better financially after Lawless started her music career. The actress became pregnant with Gareth’s child at the age of 19 .The couple eventually married in Australia in the year 1988 and was blessed with their baby daughter Daisy. Unfortunately the marriage could not sustain itself and they separated in 1995. The artist again found love in Robert Tapert and tied the knot with him 15 years back. The happy couple has since been blessed with two sons.

The New Zealand-based actress and musician Lucy Lawless has great zeal and energy when it comes to fighting for causes for the environment, animals and conservation. As a Greenpeace activist, she joined the mass protest sit-in against the behemoth, Shell, from sending its ship to the Arctic for oil-drilling. She was even arrested in February 2012 because of these efforts through Greenpeace which focuses on issues threatening the bio-diversity of our dear planet earth.
