Lusso turntable brings vinyl back to life in style
Since ages, it is the turntable that has been in use to play music by rotating a phonograph record on a circular horizontal platform. And till date, it has been evolving itself into a pricey kinda music instrument. Though the latest Montegiro Lusso turntable isn’t the costliest, as prices start at $47,000, it is undeniably one of the finest looking turntables till date. The combination of black circular rings on the silverish aluminum backdrop renders an extraordinary pose. Coming from Germany, Lusso proves that vinyl isn’t dead. Aiming for audio perfection, it features three height adjustable connected cones made from alternate layers of aluminum and black acrylic. While a central inverted cone supports the aluminum and acrylic platter.
One of the cones packs a newly developed ultra precise synchronous motor while another supports the standard 10″ Da Vinci Nobile carbon fiber arm and Montegiro MG1 titanium cartridge. And if this isn’t enough to satiate your hunger for optimum music then a special version of the Lusso is also available, which has a fourth cone supporting a second 9″ SME 5009 tonearm.
