Call it according high treatment to the high fliers! Just when the general multitude had come to terms with the concept of luxury hotels and inns for dogs and some other favorite feline pets belonging to our privileged brethren, there has come to light the existence of Bird Mansions. You heard it right – luxurious and spacious quarters for your chirpy parakeets, adorable robins and sparkly sparrows, among others.

Canada-based John Looser has taken his affection for the feathered creatures to an all new high by hand-creating this chain of budget hotels, which are proving to be a runaway hit amid the pet crazy crowds of Canada. Many boast of over a 100 rooms, swimming pools and add-on delights like a fly-through tunnel. Costing between $200 and $2,500, these glorious mansions are constructed in the 19th century European style using reclaimed wood, with the largest one being about 2.7m by 2.7m (9ft by 9ft) in size.

Says the creator, John Looser, of his passion…

I have always loved birds, and when I retired early I just felt I needed to carry on doing something. So I came up with the idea for these bird mansions. There are birds living in them right now, I have even seen mums bringing up their chicks in them. In the future, I’d like to do a replica of some of the great buildings you have in England.

So if you love your birds like one of your own, feel free to spoil them in the lap of rich comfort and playful fun courtesy these gorgeous Bird Mansions.
