When it comes to the customer satisfaction and styling elements of luxury car brands, the list goes on to become elaborate with the whole gamut of offerings from the company. From keychains, wallets, bags, shoes, jackets etc, every fathomable item of personal use is on offer, for the exclusive and comprehensive styling quotient of the buyers. This list provides the details limited editions timepieces, inspired by the luxury automobile brands:
1) Timepiece: Design Indicator

Brand: Porsche
If one is ready to shell out $270,000 for a timepiece, he/she could get hold of one of these limited edition timepieces from Porsche. Charged through the movement of the wrist, this watch has an in-built indicator of the quantity of power left in it. The body of the watch has been created with 18K rose gold, titanium and natural rubber. The strap of the watch which is made from toughened rubber resembles Porsche tires in design. Other features include a timer and a stopwatch. Only 50 pieces of this watch would be available for purchase.
2) Timepiece: Supersports light body limited edition

Brand: Bentley
When Juha Kankkunen set the world record for the quickest speed in World Rally Championship, Bentley, along with partner luxury watchmaker Breitling, introduced this limited edition timepiece to commemorate the feat. This watch was characterized with a light body titanium casing, special dials resembling the dashboard of the Bentley Supersports model, and a Bentley style raised motif. It also had a double-counter system which had a minute hand and a special totaliser. Only 1000 limited editions were available for purchase in the market.
3) Timepiece: AMVOX2 DB9 Transponder

Brand: Aston Martin
Created by designer Jaeger-LeCoultre, this timepiece was also known for its lightweight innovative designs. The main casing was made in Grade 5 titanium, with the dial showcasing a grill motif and the rhodium-plated numerals. The technology interface of the watch was integrated with DB9 Model of the Aston Martin car, which allowed the wearer to find the car, and even unlock it by pressing a sapphire crystal control button. It also happened to be the first mechanical watch that was integrated into the operating system of a luxury car. Though it is unknown how many pieces were launched, each of them costed its buyer in excess of $35,000.
4) Timepiece: Limited Edition Tachoscope chronograph

Brand: Audi
When luxury car maker Audi completed 100 years in operations, it created a limited edition timepiece with its partner watchmaker Chornoswiss, to celebrate the event. Seen as a landmark in perfection of design and engineering, this timepiece had only 100 examples on sale in the market. It had two main varieties: white gold and platinum. The multi-section dial had a tachometer, a stopwatch and separate dials for the hour and second hands. The overall look of the dial resembled that of the signature steering wheel of Audi cars. The Platinum version cost its buyer $33,100 while the white gold version cost $20,000.
5) Timepiece: Exclusive Collection

Brand: Spyker
Spyker, which is known to make specialized racing cars, introduced this timepiece whose design was in accordance to the styling elements of the cars. Variations of the timepieces’ make included rose and grey gold and also steel. The main highlighting feature was the Valjoux powered chronograph and hand-made Spyker decorations on the movements and the rotoring functions. Each of them were individually numbered with the chassis number of the cars their owners drove. The pricing of the steel variety was $11,455 while the gold varieties were available for $28,645.
6) Timepiece: Big Clock

Brand: Chevrolet
Chevrolet, a brand that was created by a Swiss man, had celebrated its 100 years in operation with the introduction of the limited edition timepieces, which had the most imposing characteristic of Chevrolet cars, i.e. big size (42mm in width). The movement of the watch was based on the Miyota Chronograph movements, on the dial that was shaped like the car dashboard, and the crown on the side resembling pistons. This gave the outlining look of an engine block to the timepiece. The 12’o’clock indicator on the dial had the logo of Chevrolet’s 100 year celebration, giving its design a distinct dimension.
7) Timepiece: Parmigiani Tourbillon

Brand: Bugatti
This watch from Bugatti, the maker of super-fast cars, has been on the market since 2004 but only underwent a change in its design a few years earlier. New versions of the watch had a gold and platinum chassis, along with the engravement signature gravestone grill of Bugatti cars, making it closely resemble the overall vehicle structure. Such is the watch’s functionality that it can easily fit at four places which includes the central dashboard, office desk, pocket and most importantly, the wrist of the owner.
8) Timepiece: March LA.B

Brand: Shelby
Built on the designing cues of the Shelby Cobra, this timepiece had close resemblance to its flagship model the Shelby EXP 500. The minimalistic appeal which distinguished this timepiece had a black strap and chassis, with the round shaped dial being polished wood. It had a direct resemblance to the dashboard of the car, which was later known for the accolades it got. There are two versions of the watch available for purchase; the 170 quantity version priced at $1500, and an automatic movement version price at $2500.
9) Timepiece: Giuliano Mazzuoli Contagiri 8C Competizione watch

Brand: Alfa Romeo
When entrepreneur Gulliano Mozoulli took a spin in the 8C Competizone model of the Alfa Romeo, he was inspired to create a timepiece to symbolize this automotive marvel. After four years of grueling efforts, the final watch managed to grab eyeballs for its black and argente dial with artistic Arabic numerals on them. The watch’s materials for its casing included 18 K rose gold, titanium, stainless steel and diamond-like-carbon fiber, which was 13.30 mm thick and 44 mm in diameter. For accurate time display, the watch had an in-built Calibre GM Cambiosequenziale/01 alternance 10 mechanism, which powered its self-winding function. The structure of the watch included 29 jewels and 131 other small parts, but was protected with the ability to be water resistant up to a depth of 50 M of water. Being a limited edition watch, only 501 pieces were ever made.
10) Timepiece: Aero Bang Morgan

Brand: Morgan
Just the car Aeromax Coupe, this watch made a handsome statement on the wrist of the wearer, with 44.5 mm dial, which allowed the viewing of its “engine” or rather the working mechanism which used the exclusive HUB 44 SQ movements. The logo of Morgon was placed at the position of 9 o’clock, adding to the already imposing dial. Raw materials used for making the casing included metals like titanium, tungsten, stainless steel and other materials like ceramics, Kevlar and sapphire crystal. The water resistance for this timepiece was up to a depth of 100 m, and total quantity of available pieces was a mere 500.
11) Timepiece: California Flyback Chronograph

Brand: Ferrari
When the Ferrari California was launched, Officine Panerai introduced this limited edition watch to match the styling and characteristics of the car. The watch case is made of polished steel with brushed edges, and has a 45 mm diameter imposing dial. Other designing elements include the 12 o’ clock to 3 o’ clock time spots which resemble in design to the instrumentation of the tachometer, and the California logo on the dial that connects the two luxury items. The elaborate dial of the watch is protected by a special sapphire crystal screen which is scratch proof and has been given an anti-reflective treatment. The sides adorned with machine crafted crown and pushables with a neat finish. The total number of this 100 m water resistant Ferrari timepiece, is 400 which would cost its buyers $13,650.
12) Timepiece: Phantom BR03 92 limited edition

Brand: Infiniti
Keeping in line other Bell & Ross timepieces, the watchmaker introduced this limited edition version with the similar design characteristics, in collaboration with auto brand Infiniti. The casing of the watch resembled aircraft control instruments with black carbon coating, along with the black dial and purple hues, which is supposed to be Infiniti’s brand color as well. The thickness of the casing is 42 mm, and is resistant to 100 mm of water. They are individually numbered from 0-100 which signifies the total quantity of their production. To get this timepiece, one would have to shell out $ 4,145.
13) Timepiece: LUC Engine One Turbillon

Brand: Alfa Romeo
Designed as a limited edition series for the “One Watch” charity auction, this timepiece was created to resemble the engine block of Alfa Romeo Cars. The black strap of the watch was a close resemblance of the tires that the vehicle uses, giving the appeal of ruggedness of the automobile brand. The casing had been created from ultra-light titanium, and the source of power for the watch was the exclusive hand-bound tourbillon movement motor LUC Calibre 1 TRM. It boasted of a power back up 60 hours and a special engraving of “Only Watches 2011″ on its sides.
14) Timepiece: RL Sporting Watch

Brand: Ralph Lauren/Bugatti
Based on the 1938 Bugatti 57SC Atlantic Coupe, Ralph Lauren designed this timepiece to imbibe the similar designing elements as the car. The metallic casing holds the dual finish dial, with wood on the outer rim and black on the inner one. The outer wooden rim of the dial doesn’t sport the numbering but provides a sharp contrast in its design. The black section on the other hand, has two divisions; the hour and minute section and the seconds’ one, which are both clearly legible. This can be seen on the Bugatti that Ralph owns, and has been a source of inspiration. The price tag of this timepiece is $13,200.
15) Timepiece: Edox X-Treme Pilot III

Brand: World Rally Championship
For those that have always wanted to look like race car drivers, here is an opportunity to look like one without wearing a jumpsuit with logos all over it. This timepiece was created exclusively for World Rally Championship (WRC) drivers, who could use it even while driving their cars at ultra-high speeds. The body of the watch has been widely made by lightweight titanium, and the strap which is made of rubber and has F1 car tire patterns on it. Only 1000 of these watches were to be ever made, and came at a price tag of $2,750.
16) Timepiece: Chrono split second

Brand: Chopard
Chopard, a name that has long associated itself with celebrating the history of racing cars, came up with this timepiece resembling the rugged toughness noticed in most racing cars. With the thick central portion of the watch with the detailed dial, adorning the colors similar to that of the racing car dashboards, it brings to life what the insides of those superfast vehicle must be like, at least somewhat. To further highlight the design’s flavor toward racing, the black strap of the watch has detailed engraving of car tires on it. Though the price tag for this timepiece isn’t known to us, it is known that the watch will have only 1000 pieces available for purchasing in the market.
17) Timepiece: King Cobra UR CC1

Brand: Urwerk
The watch came as a sharp contrast and a pleasant surprise for all those who loved watches inspired by autos. The most strongly appealing portion, the dial which has been created based on the speedometers of vehicles in the 1960s, with three divisions indicating the hour, minute and seconds, and the date toward the side of the watch. Despite the multiple functioning and equipment used in the watch, the overall weight is extremely low as compared to other examples of its kind, but hopefully the durability wasn’t compromised on.
18) Timepiece: 1921 limited edition

Brand: Gucci
The celebration for the 90th anniversary of the luxury fashion brand will be marked with the release of the 1921 limited edition collection watches, which will bear the designing elements of the time. Built with a steel body and a leather strap, this watch comes with a unique rectangular shape of the chassis. The numerals on the dial have been enameled in white over a black background for one of the options, while the other features the opposite design. The watches come in packaging for which there are options for colors, i.e. dark brown, black and white, which are matched with the color of the strap. The main functioning of the watch is based on the Dubois Depras automatic movements, which allows the watch to meet its power requirements. They can be availed at a price tag of $2650 per piece.
