Magico introduces the S5 contemporary loudspeaker design by musician Alon Wolf
After showing us such of his designing acumen in the M series model 5 speakers, musician Alan Wolf has created the latest series of floor standing speakers, called the Magico S5. This floor standing series with 3-way sound and 4-driver set in a ½-inch thick aluminum casing, will take the legacy of high quality sound and aesthetics, which was set by the preceding models like M5 or the much publicized V3.

One of the main things setting the product apart is the extruded aluminum casing with anodized finishing, which plays a significant role in the sound output. The major obstacles taken care of are the diffraction affects, internal resonance, as well as taking care of sound dampening requirements well enough. The other major role player in the 6-inch M380 mid-range driver, which is a dual neodymium motor system, with titanium voice coils, resulting in the lowest forms of sound distortion. Along with it is the beryllium diaphragm MB30 1-inch tweeter, 2 hybrid nano-tech bass drivers, the quality of sound output is something every audiophile ought to cherish, for the clarity is comparable only to the top of the league.

Other technical strengths are the frequency response range from 22 Hz- 50 KHz, which works for the lowest and highest of frequencies. The recommended power range is between 50-1200 Watts. The other physical advantage is the surfacing, which can be ordered for in multiple shades includes red, black, blue, tangerine, or lime green. If these colors don’t suit the surroundings, then one can always order them in designs of their choice.

So, if you are looking to go shopping for the new S5, be ready to shell out $28,600 per pair. However, the delivery shall happen only in the 2nd quarter of 2012.
