Any auto lover would go gaga over the beauty and style that cars from the bygone era possessed, especially those that were churned out during the first half of the last century. But when you look into the ecological side effects of these automotive masterpieces, it would surely upset you to see the carbon emissions, which have become a major issue around the world and with fossil fuel cost going up, there isn't much respite. However, when innovation comes in, almost anything is possible as JT Nesbitt of Magnolia proved that with the handcrafted vintage convertible which runs on Compressed Natural Gas (CNG).

Built on the designing guidelines of the 1930's European style coupe convertibles, the car brings in vintage as well as a modern eco-friendly perspective, rarely seen anywhere. The car’s body features the typical design of that era and has been made out of aluminum which gives it the additional aero dynamicity. There is dual tone artwork with the steel finished tire fenders and side door decorative, which stand out against the contrast black chassis. This has been repeated for the engine hood grills, which are also steel finished polished metal. The front of the engine hood also has two prominent blue set of stripes, which stand out in the classic design and go alongside the doors till the rear end. The tires are bespoken golden rimmed ones, of which the spare is located on the back atop the luggage carrier. The interiors feature a white colored steering wheel with brown leather artwork. The dashboard is also polished aluminum with blue dials indicating various vitals of the car. The leather seats carry a vintage dark brown color that blends well with the lighter share of the frame above.

The only modern component of the vehicle is the CNG fuel tank, which powers the 4-litre 6 cylinder engine, generating 200 HP of power. With this eco-friendly fuel being pumped in by most gas stations, getting a refill wouldn't be a problem. The ecological benefit of the fuel includes the 40% lower carbon emissions that helps contribute towards a clean and 'green' environment.

Mr. Nesbitt who has been behind this auto-marvel isn’t in any mood to make Magnolia, his venture a commercial one. He is known to be driven purely by passion and would like to continue this way so that he can implement his ideas at leisure.
