A Malibu mansion is set to become the most expensive US home ever sold on auction
This affluent beachfront Malibu, California mansion is expected to be the most expensive US property to be sold ever at an auction when it will go on the block next month with a starting bid of $22 million. This 10,500 sqft beach-side house has been initially listed at US $65 million which has six bedrooms, nine and a half bathrooms, a 75-feet (25 meter) two-lane lap pool, a library with an aquarium and a gymnasium.
The mansion sits on the soot of the city and is complete sandy, although the Malibu, California beaches have public access by law, but this mansion is 1000 feet away from public access that will give the buyer complete privacy. Even though the auction is said to be made on September 18, but Carol Bird of Westside Estate Agency says it can be sold before the auction as well if they find a better bidder.
Until now, the most expensive US home is Spelling Manor that costs $150 million and which sits at a huge area of 4.7 acre and belongs to the daughter of a British billionaire and Formula 1 Chief Bernie Ecclestone Petra. You can also check out the list of most expensive properties in US.
