MB&F Horological Machine No. 2 dipped in ceramic
The famous watchmaking firm, Maximilian Büsser & Friends (MB&F), who brought us the Horological Machines No 3, is presenting the Horological Machine No. 2 with ceramic casing. However, the base model (HM No. 2) was launched some two years back in 2007, and now the manufacturer has updated its press section by showing off the same old model in two new looks – ceramic & pink gold (HM2-CR) and ceramic & titanium (HM2-CTi). The latest micro-engineered luxury timepieces that feature the same intricate design include luxurious appeal brought about by its 18 carat gold case. Moreover, ceramics, which are used in making brakes for Formula 1 racing cars and heat shields for the space shuttles, are used in the timepiece to play time and adversity with elegance.
The HM2-CTi in perfect metallic silver finishing with a unique satin touch makes it a Horological Machine par excellence. On the other hand, the HM2-CR comes with hard anodized black matte scratchproof background contrasted sharply with the rose gold MB & F nameplate and the bezels. Only 66 pieces of the HM2-CTi watches and 33 pieces of the HM2-CR will be produced. The luxury watches displaying two separate dials with ceramic casing establish a natural link between art and technology.
