Recently, Mel Gibson has sold his Lavender Hill Farm, Malibu mansion for $9.3 million The Bachelor creator Mike Fleiss.

Lavender Hill Farm is located in the premier and private Serra Retreat part of Malibu. The home sits in the area of 2.56 acres and was originally builtb y composer Leonard Rosenman in 1979 and was later owned by musician Rick Springfield. The house has orchards, gardens, three guest homes, a life-size chess game, a pool, and a private gym. The house also has a spa room and lighted tennis court. The house has 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms and is constructed with hardwood and stone detailing. The gardens in the estate includes groves of mature avocado trees as well as pepper, oak and other specimen trees. The property was initially put up for sale in March 2010 with a $14.5m.

Apart form his huge mansions, Gibson is also a proud owner of 5400-acre private island which he purchased from a Japanese company in 2005,the island does not have many people residing on it except for the caretakers of his property.The island is known to be one of the largest private islands in the Pacific.

This two seater smart car which is a part of DaimlerChrysler AG’s Mercedes Car Group was launched in US in 2008. Mel Gibson is amongst the few celebrity who owns one.

The famous celebrity owns a silver color Lexus LS600 that has been the flagship car in the Lexus line-up since its, and the brand's launch in 1989.

The couple had to face a loss of $2 million  on their famous Maxfield Parrish Daybreak, which went to auction. The actor’s ex wife bought this paintng few years ago at an auction for $ 7.6 million. Gibson also sold his favorite painting Sing a Song of Sixpence, which used to hang at the couple's mansion Connecticut at a very low bid. the couple had to sell off thier collection to settle the divorce agreement.
