Recently, the second generation of the Bang & Olufsen’s Advanced Sound System was made available for the new Audi A8 L, and now the Danish company has designed a new high-end custom sound system for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. It was the year 2007 when Mercedes-AMG and Bang & Olufsen teamed up for the development of high-end sound systems for AMG and Mercedes-Benz cars. Starting September 2010, the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound AMG high-end sound system will be made available in all the S-Class versions. The high-end system has been developed in collaboration with the Mercedes-AMG engineers. The four illuminated acoustic lenses and aesthetic aluminum speaker grills. Complement perfectly the curves of the curves of the S-Class cabins. The white LED light that comes from the four tweeter units and the b-pillar has been tuned to match the color from the instrument panel. Moreover, it adapts itself to the day or night mode based on the ambient light.

The loudspeaker grills in the doors and on the parcel shelf make way for the company’s eminent aluminum competences. The new system boasts 15 high-quality speakers and the total amplifier power is 1200 watts. The three-way speaker system in the front doors allows optimal sound radiation for driver and passengers on the front seat. The COMAND APS control system features a special sound setting that focuses the sound particularly on the rear seats. The system enriches every passenger in the car with an amazing sound experience that is pleasing to both the ears and the eyes.

Bang & Olufsen Automotive is currently working on new sound systems for upcoming Mercedes-Benz cars.
