Michael Benjamin Bay more popularly known as Michael Bay is an award winning producer, director known worldwide for his action flicks with a dash of exotic special effects. Michael Bay is one of the founding members of the commercial production house ‘ The Institute for the Development of Enhanced Perceptual Awareness’ and includes popular movies including The Rock, Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, The Bad Boys and Transformers series under his umbrella. Apart from being a popular producer, director, Michael Bay has also acted in a number of his movies including roles in Bad Boys II, Armageddon, Coyote Ugly and Mystery men. Michael Bay has the distinction of working with some of the most well known Hollywood stars including the likes of Will Smith and Bruce Willis.   Michael Bay is considered to be barometer for financial and critical success for all the young, new age directors and producers with an estimated net worth of $400 Million. Apart from his brilliant cinematic career Michael Bay is well known for his love for animals especially dogs. Michael currently lives in Miami and has two Bullmastiff dogs as companions. Such has been his love for dogs that he named characters in his popular movies Transformers and Armageddon on his two dogs named Bonecrusher and Grace. Not only does Michael shoot’s his dogs for various scenes in his movies, as a young adult he donated his entire Bar Mitzvah ceremonial money to an animal shelter.   Michael Bay was born and raised in Los Angeles California by his adoptive parents. Shooting a coke commercial as a student project lured Michael Bay to the world of series advertising and filmmaking. Although Michael Bay’s career has been a dream run his personal life remains a mystery. Bay has claimed on a number of occasions that he was the illegitimate child of a popular director of the 1970s and was given up for adoption at birth. He later claimed to be the biological son of director John Frankenheimer who denied the claim and a DNA test returned negative. Michael Bay meanwhile has been associated with Playboy centerfold model Jaime Bergman as well as Cara Michelle in the past but is currently single and lives in Miami Florida with his two dogs.
