Along with her boyfriend, actor Jason Segel, the American actress Michelle Ingrid Williams purchased a warehouse apartment in New York City in the first half of 2012. The apartment serves as the permanent residence of the actress, her new boyfriend and Matilda, who was born out of her previous relationship with actor Heath Ledger. Notably, part of the reason for the moving into the new house was the actress’s desire to leave behind the memories of her old home which she used to share with Ledger. The apartment itself is part of a building which houses a 19th century renovated coffee warehouse. The family was nicely settling down in to their new apartment when fate dealt out a very tough hand to them. The area where the building is situated was hit very hard by Hurricane Sandy in October 2012 as a result of which the entire neighborhood was flooded in knee deep water. Even basic services like electricity and water supply collapsed which forced Michelle to abandon her new home and seek refuge in the safety of her old brownstone apartment which she used to share with Ledger a few years back. It is not yet clear if the family has now moved back into their warehouse apartment.

Location: Michelle’s new property is situated in the Brooklyn neighborhood of New York City. The home is just a few blocks away from the actress’s old $4 million brownstone apartment.

Accommodation: The apartment contains a bedroom, living room, dining area, modern kitchen and two bathrooms. Michelle has acquired exclusive parking rights to accommodate two cars simultaneously at the apartment’s basement garage. The terrace offers great views of the Manhattan skyline.

Features: The entire apartment is climate protected by a centralized air conditioner and the master bathrooms has been fitted with a Jacuzzi.

Neighborhood: Katie Holmes resides a just few blocks away from Michelle’s apartment.

The actress was accompanied by her boyfriend, actor Jason Segel, daughter Matilda and friend Busy Philipps for the entire duration of her nine day long holiday which extended well beyond the 2013 New Year. The actress looked ravishing clad in a gorgeous black two piece bikini and utilized the hot sun to tan her well-toned body.

Michelle also went for a stroll along the beach front with her beau and friend. The group tried out and greatly enjoyed the delicious sea food on offer at Cancun. Michelle also spent a lot of quality time with her six year old daughter and was photographed playing by the side of the beach with her kid.
