The couple adopted Freeman’s step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines, from his first marriage to raise her together though in December 2007 Colley-Lee initiated divorce proceedings against Freeman alleging that Freeman had an intimate 10-year long affair with E’Dena. The couple briefly reconciled though their divorce was finalized in September, 2010. Freeman has two sons Saifoulaye and Alphonso from previous relationships. He has one daughter named Morgana with his first wife and also adopted her daughter Deanna.

  • I do know there are a lot of people who seem to be in my corner, and that's, of course, wonderful. I'm really more interested in the nomination than in the award, because I think the nomination just puts you within a group of outstanding actors.
