Morphy's auction house to auction rare vintage comics for serious collectors
After the much talked comic book auctions last year, which included the Avengers #1 book, and 1938 Action Comics #1 (the world’s most expensive comic book), this year too has bought in surprises for the avid book collector, and fans of comics from the by-gone era. Morphy’s Auction will be putting on the auction block 2 books which include a May 1939 No.27 issue of the ‘Detective Comics’ with Batman on the cover, and the other being a May 1963 issue of the ‘Amazing Spiderman’.
