Muhammad Ali originally named as Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr is a renowned American former professional boxer also an active social worker and a philanthropist. Ali has established himself as very successful athlete and when needed turned into a social activist to make things better for others. He is a heart winner and has added many awards to his long professional boxing career. He is well recognized for winning the prestigious gold medal in light heavyweight championship in 1960 Olympics. He has also registered himself with a proletarian record of around 100 wins in boxing matches with just 5 losses. He has always been a strong contender and won numerous championships some of them to be named are six Kentucky Golden Gloves, an Amateur Athletic Junior Title, and two National Golden Gloves and many more. The biggest of all in the year 1999, Ali was also honored as the Sportsman of the Century by BBC as with Sports Illustrated and Sports Personality of the Century.

Muhammad Ali is actually a Christen Cassius Marcellus Clay, Jr and was born on 17th, 1942 at Louisville in Kentucky to a happy simple couple his father was a painter and his mother was a house wife and raised him and his younger brother. Ali recognized his talent at the age of 12 years and when a police officer looking at his rage guided him to use this energy into sports. Later on in his life he had an inclination towards Islam and he adopted it as a religion. Talking about his family life he has been married four times and three of them didn’t last for much time. By his wives he has seven daughters and two living sons. Currently he is married to Yolanda Williams since 26 years and lives with his two kids.
