At the Munich High End show (May 19-22, 2011), French firm Musique Concrete will officially launch its gorgeous 106dB Grande Castine speakers, which we introduced you to back in 2009. Since then, the Grand Castine has undergone notable changes to realize a beautiful three-way horn speaker without compromises. The Grande Castine speakers are simply in a class of their own.

For a balanced reproduction of the entire audible spectrum, from 20 to 20,000 Hz, it was decided to entrust the sub-bass (20-80 Hz) panels with separated dipoles. This excellent performance comes with a speaker sensitivity of 106dB.

Musique Concrete will formally exhibit the Grande Castine in rooms F221 4 in the Atrium on the second floor during the show, where it will be paired with the Swedish amplifier Lars 2. Expect them to cost around $100,000.
