Established in 2006 by actresses-turned-CFDA winners Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, the U.S. fashion brand ‘The Row’ which reflects a sense of relaxed and timeless elegance, focusing on fine fabrics and the perfect fit has now collaborated with internationally renowned English artist Damien Hirst to create a brand new capsule collection of super luxe backpacks. The Row designers and the successful and controversial British artist, who shocked the art world with his unusual works, including dead animal artifacts and medicine cabinet sculptures, actually collaborated on 9 different styles, embellishing the label’s signature black patent Nile crocodile leather backpack with Hirst’s signature spots. Created in a limited-edition of 12 and signed by the artist himself, this collection of product-as-art packs will be retailed exclusively at Just One Eye, an online design store noted for featuring one-of-a-kind collaborations, for whopping $55,000 a piece.

Notably, this one-of-a-kind wearable art work features original art by Hirst, meticulously applied to front, back and straps of The Row’s sold-out backpack.

This stunning backpack was crafted in Italy and is made with specially sourced materials, and black patent leather Nile crocodile. Each backpack comes with metal mirror plate and case, as well as designer-stamped gold-plated brass hardware.
