The show queen owns a fabulous vacation home at the sea shore in Antigua.

Oprah has the ownership of a five-bedroom, 5,994-square-foot house on a 1.62-acre parcel at 4555 Stratford Drive in Douglasville, Ga.

This is Winfrey's most famous mansion which she has aptly named The Promised Land. It is a 42-acre estate embraced with the true beauty of ocean and mountain views in Montecito, California. What add to its coziness are 10 fireplaces and the landscaping features a rose hybrid specially bred over five years by her landscaper. The unique feature of this mansion is a structure built for the express purpose of shielding Oprah from the infrequent Santa Barbara showers. Oprah's collection has grown to include scores of gorgeous coffee-table books. Winfrey ferociously guards the privacy of her home and doesn't allows shutterbugs to disturb the serenity of the place.

Oprah Winfrey has recently sells her swanky apartment in Chicago which was on the market for $2.8 million at a loss of $2.75 million. She bought the Streeterville condo in 2006 for a cool $5.6 million.  Oprah had earlier listed the same home for $6 million in June 2008, however it did not fnd any takers.

Features:  The apartment is spread over 5000 square feet and boasts two foyers (one inner, one grand), a formal dining room, a solarium, a butler's pantry, a wine room and three bedrooms. Since buying the place Oprah has never moved in there and prefers staying in her 15,000 square feet duplex nearby. Before listing the apartment, she was  renting out the place for $15,000 per month. The mansion is one of the 13 1913 mansions designed by famous architect Benjamin Marshall.

Oprah winfrey owns a pricey three-bedroom penthouse in Manhattan, positioned at the 36th-floor of the luxurious residential tower “Place 57”. Designed by architect Ismael Levy, the residential tower features a bunch of facilities for the residents white include residents-only conference rooms, round the clock doorman and concierge services, thematically designed children's playrooms, a fully equipped fitness center, and a Baccarat Crystal Garden. Winfrey’s three-bedroom penthouse is currently on sale in the market for $7.9 million.

Winfrey was the recipient of the first Bob Hope Humanitarian Award at the 2002 Emmy Awards for services to television and film. "

Another painting that is a part of Winfrey's extensive collection is the Thomas Hart Benton's famous 1945 painting, Back from the Fields, which hangs above the mantel in her private library.

Winfrey owns the marvelous 1926 sculpture "Standing Woman with Pleated Skirt," by French-American artist Gaston Lachaise.  She has set it inside her library on her study table. 

Winfrey has stated that her favorite painting in her personal collection is Roseland's 1904 work, To the Highest Bidder. The painting, depicts a pre-Civil War scene, where a mother and daughter are about to be separated by a slave auction. Her collection also includes other works of Harry Roseland like Rent day and The Writing Lesson.

Oprah has adored the walls of her Santa Barbara home with a painting by Eugene A. Montgomery, which she got from the Richard Norton Gallery.
