Petra Ecclestone lists Los Angeles mansion for a$150 million

Petra Ecclestone, billionaire daughter of Formula One boss Bernie, purchased a massive Los Angeles mansion on July 2011. Reportedly it is considered to posses 15,000 sq. feet of more space than the White House. The property was acquired from the late film mogul Aaron Spelling and his wife Candace for a staggering $85 million.

However as reports suggest the 10 room property known as “The Manor” has been listed by the heiress for a whopping $150 million on the property site in 2014. Reportedly the sprawling 57,000 sq. feet French chateau inspired home was the largest in LA enclave of Holmby Hills at the time of its purchase. However the décor of the mansion was not matching the business woman’s tastes.  Therefore she embarked on a huge redesign spending spree and spent a staggeringly huge amount of nearly $85 to renovate the luxurious palace.

Reportedly the renovation work took a couple of months time with nearly 500 workers assigned the task of completung the massive palace. The renovation process doubled the cost of her initial investment. The stylish makeover included the huge master suite which alone measured 7,000 square feet having its own kitchen and living room. Interestingly the second floor which has 6 beautifully decorated guest rooms features the Prince Charles suite where Charles and Diana once stayed.

Another interesting fact about the mansion is that it has no garage, instead there is a ‘motor court’ with a huge space for parking nearly 100 cars. The luxurious property even features three hair salons, a massage room and a very large size walk-in wardrobe. The mom of one reportedly changed the old 1980’s décor for bright new and trendy designs. Apparently a team of gardeners are employed to maintain the huge lush green ground.

However as far the as the entertainment coefficient is concerned, the guests can enjoy several facilities as the palace is equipped with its own nightclub, cinema, and bowling alley.
