The Golf champ owns a plush home in Rancho Santa Fe, which he bought for $6 million in 2001. The elegant home also underwent some renovations, before Phil listed the property on sale in market for $7.1 million.

Phil and his wife Amy created the “Birdies for the Brave” in order to provide help and support to the US military troops injured during war. The military outreach initiative is supported by PGA tour which encourages PGA players and other corporate groups to provide funds for the critical programs and services offering help to the wounded US warriors, in order to honor and assist the people who protect others. The noble charity conducts various fundraising events apart from other events like letter-writing campaigns and patriotic celebrations.
Special Operations Warrior Foundation
The Phil and Amy’s “Special Operations Warrior Foundation”, is aimed at providing immediate financial support to the families of fallen and wounded military personnel from Army, Navy, Air Force along with educational support to their surviving children. Incepted in 2004, the noble charity has accumulated more than $750,000 to support its programs from various sources including Phil and his fans. Currently, the foundation runs two primary programs comprising full college scholarships and educational counseling for the children and has more than 140 students enrolled in colleges and universities across the country.
Homes For Our Troops
Phil supports the John Gonsalves founded charity “Homes For Our Troops”, one of the top-Rated Veterans & Military Charities. The foundation focuses on building and remodeling homes free of cost for the severely injured soldiers who return from the war bearing life-altering injuries. A prominent generous contributor, Phil joined the foundation in 2004 and volunteered to contribute $500 for every eagle and $100 for every birdie which he made that season on the PGA Tour. The funds are gathered via contributions from a network of professionals and other foundations and individuals. Till date the charity has developed 40 homes in 25 states with a lot more in different stages of construction.
