Some names associated with creative designs, especially those normally not associated with real estate, have come together to lend the industry a new breadth of fresh air, with their new designs bringing in modernism along. We have previously seen that in the case of Porsche Sky garages and also the Porsche suite at the London Taj Hotel, which have managed to reach out to niche customers, with their own distinctive touches. Now Italian designing house Pininfarina, which is known for creating landmark designs for Ferrari, Maserati, Rolls Royce, and Alfa Romeo has now stepped into the arena of luxury real estate of the Miami city, by playing the designing mentor of Millencento Residences, a 42-storey 382 apartment tower.
Address: 1,100 Millencento Residences, South Miami Avenue, Miami, Florida
Location & Settings: Build in joint collaboration with the Related Group, designing house Pininfarina makes these towers their maiden residential real estate venture, where they have played active role in bringing their world class aesthetics to the tower. The main creative brain behind the designs is course Mr. Carlos Ott, who has previous experience in this segment including the Jade Beach and Artech projects, which were both landmarks in their own rights. Set in one of the prime areas of the Miami City, there are 42-storeys in the designer building, which will be house to 382 condo apartments targeted at the rich families. Like some other of the designs, this project will have properties based on minimalist modernism theme, without compromising on any luxurious amenities which the offering is supposed to provide. Smooth surfaces created by premium fabrication, along with high quality fittings; ooze the aura that one would expect from such a project where the Italian designs and more importantly, Mr. Ott has lent his expertise.
Amenities: Exotic wooden fabrication especially in the open kitchen cabinets, apart from rare Italian leather varieties are on a decadent display throughout the apartments. Notable facilities would include state of the art fitness center, private theater, private cabanas, and infinity pool on the 42nd floor of the tower, and also a pool deck with a club room on the 9th floor.
Pricing and launch dates aren’t out as yet, but looking at the detailing, it is a few years away from completion, and the rich families from booking their properties here. The artistic renderings look as a good as ever, and the real thing might be just as good, looking into the names that are involved with the project. Though Miami remains a prime destination in US for luxury real estate, this tower might as well set in a serious storm of competition.
