Five seat mid-size luxury crossover manufactured by the German manufacturer since 2002, the Porsche Cayenne which proved to be a performance vehicle among SUV’s and was praised for its powerful engine and excellent handling, has now got an updated and more powerful version in the form of 550 hp Turbo S model. With an increase of 50hp from the Cayenne Turbo, the exclusively-new SUV Turbo S features highly advanced active chassis technologies, which enables it to outperform the driving performance of many high-end sports cars, while preserving the ultimate ride comfort and off-road capability. Described to be the Porsche's most powerful SUV yet, this newly updated ride with torque of 553 pound-feet offers faster acceleration and a higher top-speed of 175 mph, and sprints from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.3 seconds.
Equipped for maximum driving performance, the new Porsche Cayenne Turbo S also sports the high-tech Sport Chrono package, which includes a digital and analog timer located at the dashboard's center.
The Cayenne Turbo S boasts front air-intakes and rear view mirror trim which comes painted in high-gloss black, while the rear spoiler separation edge and wheel arch extensions are painted in exterior color.
On the inside, the Porsche designers have created an ultra-exclusive two-tone leather package which is available in combinations of black and luxor or black and carrera red. The rear and front seats boasts the Porsche Crest which has been embossed on the headrests, while the SUV's roof is covered in Alcantara.
Complementing the exclusively designed interiors, the door, instrument panel, and center console trim showcases the carbon-fiber details.
With a price tag of $146,000, the Cayenne Turbo S will be made available for sale in 2013.
