Precious Skin brings temporary pure gold tattoos to Dubai
A new tattoo business is targeting the fashion-conscious crowd in Dubai with its temporary 24-carat-gold tattoos. Precious Skin is operating two outlets in Dubai, with one at the luxurious Burj Al Arab hotel. They design and apply body tattoos made of 99.9 percent gold or platinum. The gold tattoos can last for up to a week. Arnaud Flambeau, managing director of Flambeau Luxury Trading and Precious Skin, cited that it’s a revolution in the body art business. He thought that the unique concept, which originated in Japan, could be a hit in the Gulf as women usually go for temporary henna tattoos for weddings and other occasions.
Pricing for the temporary gold tattoos starts at a modest $50 and can go as high as $5,500 for elaborated designs.
