Accommodation: The huge palace has several rooms dedicated for different activities. The most prominent of the many rooms are the state apartments which were constructed in 16th century and were enhanced in the style of those at Versailles during the 18th century. Other rooms in the state suite include the Red Room — so called because its walls are covered in red brocade. The palace is decorated with the paintings of many prominent painters such as Jan Brueghel and Charles Le Brun. The palace is decked with 18th-century French-style furniture.

Wedding of Prince Albert II and former South African swimmer Charlene Wittstock was one of the most elaborated wedding seen in this century. 3,500 guests, including royalty and celebrities, attended the event at the Place du Palais on 1st and 2nd July 20011. Many celebrated people attended the ceremony such as Lesotho and Belgium, the presidents of France, top models and racing car drivers.
