The youngest daughter of the late King Hassan II of Morocco and the sister of Morocco king Mohammed VI, Princess Lalla Hasna of Morocco was born in November 19, 1967. Princess Hasna was keenly interested in communal and cultural activities since her childhood days, with special stress to the environmental matters in Morocco. The princess currently serves the governing board of the Mohammed VI foundation, which was created in 2001 for the fortification of the environment. The princess was also nominated as the Coast Ambassador in 2007, by the United nation Program of Environment. Princess Hasna married cardiologist Dr. Khalid Benharbit in 1991 in Rabat and has two daughters.
