1). 18th Century agate-paneled and silver-mounted musical ormolu table clock with moonphase indication

An intricately decorated musical clock once owned by King Farouk, the penultimate King of Egypt, is up for grabs at Bonhams Fine Clocks Sale on Dec. 12th at New Bond Street. This rare and ornately decorated piece which is still accompanied by original signed and dated key has been with the same owner’s from the last 50 years. This piece is surmounted by the figure of a silver dragon on a drum case carrying the signed enamel Roman and Arabic dial signed in two curved arcs, while the mid-section of the case is topped by four stone-set silver flowerheads and inlaid with boldly figured agate panels. The lowermost part of the case is formed as a mid 18th century commode, and the whole piece is supported on 4 cast feet modeled as decorated elephants, complete with head dresses. (Bonhams)
2). Patek Philippe Dome Clock by artist John ‘Crash’ Matos at Antiquorum

At its auction of Important Modern & Vintage Timepieces in New York on Dec. 13th, Antiquorum will be offering a one-of-a-kind Patek Philippe solar dome clock hand-painted by graffiti artist John ‘Crash’ Matos.
Offered with a pre-auction estimate of $10,000 to $15,000, this circa 1960 dome clock is solar powered and electro-mechanical gilt brass and hand painted. (Antiquorum)

4). Marilyn Monroe Rare Signed Nude Calendar, Circa 1952
Estimate Price: $8,000 +
Featuring the infamous pose titled ‘A New Wrinkle,’ while the lower portion advertises the ‘Paramount Paint & Lacquer Co.’, this 1952 page-a-month calendar signed on the right side in black ink “To my buddy, Ma_ _ / Love and Affection / Marilyn;” the “Ma_ _” being Mary Karger who’s the sister of Fred Karger, Marilyn Monroe’s vocal coach at Columbia Studios and one of her early love interests.
This calendar which has numerous wrinkles, tears, and paper loss around the edges was consigned directly by Mary Karger’s son, Bennet, who relays that his mother met Marilyn Monroe in 1948 when the then starlet was dating her brother, Fred Karger. (Heritage Auctions)
5). John Lennon ‘Bag One’
The founder member of the Beatles, John Lennon’s rare ‘Bag One’ leather case which comes complete with an erotic lithograph from Lennon’s controversial 1970 exhibition is now up for grabs and is expected to fetch as much as $7,000 at the Heritage Auctions’ Entertainment & Music Memorabilia Signature Auction.
The leather case and Lennon’s Erotic #2 print will be sold as a combined lot. Historically, John Lennon produced 8 sketches of both himself and Ono which were eventually confiscated by Scotland Yard while on exhibit in London. (Heritage Auctions)
