Real Estate Beat: Jennifer Aniston’s Beverly Hills mansion
List Price: $42 million
The Property: Actress Jennifer Aniston’s luxurious Beverly Hills mansion has now hit the market for a whopping $42 million. The former “Friends” star purchased this Los Angeles home in 2006 for $13.6 million, and since then, she has been spending a lot of money to make it a lavish retreat. Mid-century modern architect Hal Levitt built the luxurious home in 1972. The actress was lately reported to have bought a $5.9 million New York apartment.
Physical Address: North Hillcrest Road Beverly Hills, CA 90210.
The Setting: Aniston’s 10,000 square feet mansion sits on about an acre of land in the hills above Sunset Boulevard. The sprawling house, christened Ohana, offers magnificent views of the Los Angeles city and the sea.
The gated estate was also featured in “Architectural Digest,” where America’s Sweetheart Jennifer Aniston showed off her palatial home and boasted that it felt “like a hug” and “vibrates with the love that created it.”
Interiors & Exteriors: The luxurious Beverly Hills house features five bedrooms, eight-and-a-half bathrooms, a swimming pool with a cabana, game room and a Japanese spa. After Aniston bought the home in 2006, she hired designer Stephen Shadley for the renovations that cost her millions of dollars.
The improvements include smart house technology, a biometric security system for both her wine cellar and jewelry cabinet and a “two-in-one kitchen” that conceals a professional catering kitchen behind the family-sized kitchen. The house has a Koi pond in the front entrance hall.
