Renault Sport Clio V6

Renault Sport Clio V6

The Renault Sport Clio V6 is a hatchback from the house of Renault Motors based on the Renault Clio design concept initially launched in 2001. The design of the Renault Sport Clio V6 is an extension of the original Renault 5 Turbo designed as back as the early 1980s with an engine strategically designed and placed in place of the back seats accompanied by a rear wheel drive. The Clio V6 Renault Sport is the second generation design coming from the house of Renault taking forward the first phase Renault Clio models. Based on the functional hatchback design, the Clio V6 is not a convenient family car and is only designed for specific single drivers with an average fuel utilization of 24 miles per gallon.

Interior: The interiors of the Renault Sport Clio V6 are nothing to boast of as it is not a luxury sedan but a hot hatchback. The standard equipment that comes with the factory equipped Renault Sport Clio V6 includes automatic rain sensing mechanism with windscreen wipers, and auto headlights. The loss of the back seats due to the strategic placement of the car’s engine results in a stern restriction in luggage space in the interior of the Renault Sport Clio V6. The only possible space available in the car is the front panel where traditionally engine of the car is equipped and the cramped space is suitable to hold small grocery items. Apart from the front panel, there is some space available in the netted area behind the seats plus and small hoard area under the tailgate.

Exterior: The Renault Clio V6 is one the most visually exciting road cars available in the market today and is a rightful successor to the Renault 5 Turbo series of cars that pioneered the mid-engine hatchback fashion back in late 1980’s. The Renault Sport Clio V6 comes equipped with longitudinal and slanting links at the back, supported by dense spring and constraint units. The chassis of Renault Clio V6 has in place high anti-roll bars along with quad vented disc brakes. Although, the Renault Sport Clio V6 uses mostly composite material in the exterior, the Clio V6 still remains one of the heavier cars in its segment weighing nearly 3000 pounds.
