Rent a village in Europe for $60,000 a night
We have earlier talked about exclusive space buying in terms of private islands, such as the Rat Island, and also the East Sister Rock Island which were put on sale pretty recently. Now, what seems to be an emerging trend in the European luxury vacationers, an entire village could be hired for as much as $60,000 a night. Considering the beauty of European country side areas, and also the fact that the region is now facing a cash crunch, this idea is set to capture luxury vacationers, and corporate entities that have the cash to spare and hire such an exclusive place in the mainland regions.

Just imagining what this offer could entail you, makes it sound almost too good to be true; hire an entire village for a period, name the street corners, food outlets, and other social areas after yourself, your family members, or your senior executives, then hire the local village artists as your entertainers for the period! You could perhaps use the local restaurant, bar or convention center as your meeting place, or personal hideout for the night as well. Currently, there are 10 villages that are there as options to choose from, which include Alpbach (Austria), Mariazell (Austria), Brand (Austria), Mondsee (Austria), Peru (Austria), Goldegg (Austria), Braunlage (Germany), Deidesheim (Germany), Trittenheim (Germany), and Engelberg (Switzerland). In the recent past, even the whole territory of Liechtenstein was on hire for $70,000 a night but was taken aback by authorities after receiving bad press in the UK, under whose custodianship the country falls.

From what we gather in the international circles, this idea promoted mainly by Rent-A-Village has started receiving requests from rich folks in the Gulf, and also multinational corporations like AEG, Hyundai, Siemens, and Wyeth Pharma. A recent achieved event shows that AEG had hired Apbach, where there was a large scale corporate rebranding along with custom made ice sculptures dedicated to the company. So the next time you are willing to splurge on a vacation, just give Rent-A-Village a buzz.
