Reverso Cordonnet Duetto Timepiece by Jaeger-LeCoultre boasts of 1,250 diamonds on itself
Swiss luxury watchmaker Jaeger-LeCoultre has experimented with various precious fabrication options in the past, for their special timepieces, but the ones worked with diamonds have remained special. Last year, they unveiled the 101 jewelry watch for Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee, which also had the smallest tourbillon movement in a watch. This time, they celebrate the brand’s 180th anniversary, with the redone edition of the Reverso Cordonnet Duetto timepiece having 1,250 diamonds. The watch was originally created in 1936, and this time around, it gets it’s rebirth in a white gold casing along with the carefully crafted diamonds. Though not much detail is known, it is known to have been a private request for this timepiece to be created, hence a one-off unit.

The Reverso Cordonnet Duetto, as the name says, has been given 2 dials. The front face is a diamond embossed aesthetic design on white gold, where the back face is a very classic deep blue shaded dial, with white gold markings, hour and minute hands, and the branding of the timepiece.

The watch has managed to increase it’s star power already. Actress and model Diane Kruger, who has been a Jaeger-LeCoultre ambassador for sometime now, was photographed wearing the timepiece. The Swiss brand chose the German star, as she is known to be someone who has lead her life with confidence and elegance much like the Reverso Cordonnet Duetto watch.
