Roger Dubuis unveils new watches in the Excalibur collection
More than just an exclusive manufacture to be 100% Poinçon de Genève certified, the Swiss watchmaking brand Roger Dubuis founded back in 1995, actually reflects an incredible world of its own where exuberance rules and creativity reigns supreme. Worthy of the best in Haute Horlogerie, the brand’s enormous creativity is reflected in the worlds of 4 distinct characters: the elegant player of the “La Monégasque” collection, the powerful warrior of the “Excalibur” collection, the modern venturer of the “Pulsion” collection and the sophisticated diva of the “Velvet” collection. Now, for the year 2013, Roger Dubuis unveils two exclusive timepieces, the Excalibur 36 and Excalibur 42 for its Excalibur watch collection which boasts technical excellence and powerful design as its signature characteristics.

Excalibur 36
This model certainly adds a precious touch to Excalibur Collections’ daring designs. The Excalibur 36 in pink gold comes set with a halo of 672 diamonds, weighing 4.78 carats, which sparkles with the light of a thousand fires.

This exceptional and ultra-precious timepiece that’s a true hymn to femininity represents the avant-garde spirit that characterizes Roger Dubuis and is the essence of its excellence in jewelry. Further, its bracelet comes set with 624 diamonds totaling 3.79 carats and bezel with 48 diamonds totaling around 0.99 carats.
Notably, it comes fitted with the latest generation of a Roger Dubuis mechanical movement with automatic winding, the Calibre RD821, and is composed of 172 parts.
Excalibur 42 Chronograph
With its sporting spirit and refined design, the chronograph powered by the new RD681 automatic movement with a Roger Dubuis iconic micro-rotor, actually fosters the idea that a watch can be worn as an elegant way of improving achievement.

This model uses its 42 mm diameter to proclaim its watchmaking pedigree, and boasts triple horns attached to the bracelet, the immediately identifiable fluted bezel and the slender Roman numerals.

Besides the latest watches in its collection, the brand has also teamed up with the iconic British heiress to the Guinness fortune known for her very unparalleled sense of style, the high fashion darling, couture collector and designer herself, Daphne Guinness. The heiress is now the new face of watchmaker Roger Dubuis’s feminine watch collection, and has been lensed by Nick Knight.
