Despite his ownership of the famously global-warming denying Fox News, Murdoch owns a hybrid sedan, the Toyota Lexus GS450H. This green car’s engine yield a 339-horsepower brute to drive this 4,100-pound luxury sedan, and it comes with the price tag of $54, 655.

Manufactured by the iconic brand Land Rover, Range Rover seems to be one of the favorite brands of Rupert Murdoch. It’s been recently spotted that Murdoch has at least three Range Rovers, each sporting a different color. Range Rover is a four wheel drive sports utility vehicle, and can sail up to a maximum speed of 130 mph. Developed under BMW ownership, Range Rover is into its third generation. Murdoch’s Range Rover also sports latest technology which is visible in the form of Radio Function, Navigation System, Television & Telecommunication Systems and automotive computer bus systems. 

The London home of the world’s most powerful media baron is not as opulent as Citizen Kane’s Xanadu, but the exquisitely considerate appearance camouflages all the high tech facilities of the home. It’s been reported that London based Trevor Lahiff has been commissioned by Murdoch and his wife Wendi Deng to renovate this apartment.

Interior and Décor: The 21st century smart technology has been incorporated in to the home which includes touch operated plasma TV which can also be used for video conferencing. A large closet in the drawing room shelter the Sky boxes, DVD players and stereos. Designed with the feng shui principles, the whole place is slightly corporate and looks like a Gentleman’s club. Looking like a mountain fortress, the mansion is a typical hideaway for a business tycoon who needs respite from the glare of media.

The house was in news once, when Angelina Jolie rented it for the hefty price tag of $100K per month during the Long Island filming of Salt.

Global Media Mogul Rupert Murdoch owns an apartment in the 834 Fifth Avenue, one of the most prestigious apartment houses in New York City. This limestone-clad building was designed by Rosario Candela, and has been called "the most pedigreed building on the snobbiest street in the country’s most real estate-obsessed city" in the New York Observer newspaper. Murdoch bought this luxurious residential triplex from Laurance Rockefeller for $44 million in 2005. This triplex penthouse apartment is approximately of 4,000 sq ft.

Interior and Décor: Decorated by Murdoch’s favorite Christian Liaigre, Rosehearty is certainly a magnificent and stunning yacht in terms of interior and luxury. The interior reception rooms, the bedrooms and large sofas in the spacious main salon features same color scheme. 

Rupert Murdoch has added a second luxury yacht to his repertoire, Vertigo, the seventh largest sailing yacht in the world designed by Phillippe Briand. Interiors of this beautiful 220-foot yacht have been designed by Murdoch’s favorite Christian Liaigre.

Accommodation: The Vertigo has ultra luxury accommodations for 12 guests and crew of eleven. The yacht boasts five staterooms centered on a massive owner’s suite, a convertible gym and a well furnished sleek design dining hall.
