David Weeks, the American-based designer has teamed-up with Quinze & Milan, the Belgian design company and Areaware, the New York based design company to launch their biggest lounging Cubebot lounger-cum-sculpture at twenty times the original size of the Cubebot robot toys.

The Giant Cubebot

Just like the non-traditional wooden robots inspired by the Japanese Shinto Kumi-ki puzzles, the giant Cubebot lounger is a functional piece of furniture and is perfect for lounging around. The Cubebot robot lounger will be on display at MOST Salone by Tom Dixon in Milan.

2) Viteo Pure Lounge fire table

Viteo fire table

We have earlier told you about the fire furniture perfect with integrated fireplace for outdoor lounging. The latest is an outdoor table with built-in fire function, will be unveiled by Viteo, in its Pure collection. The form follows function design principle has yet again materialized with Viteo’s new collection. The Pure Lounge fire table is especially designed for a campfire-like atmosphere to make your summer evenings a pleasant experience even in the chilly winters.

3) Sereno armchair

Sereno

Moredesign has designed a fascinating sculpture for Twentyfirst with Sereno armchair themed to look like a giant Buddha sculpture. The illuminated Buddha armchair-cum-sculpture is a perfect piece of furniture to add to your outdoor utopia or for your meditation lounge. Sereno is indeed more of an “artwork” with vested functionality. The sculptural furniture is made of polyethylene and can include lighting depending on where you want to place it in your abode – indoors or outdoors.

4) Wintertree Bookshelf

Wintertree bookshelf

21 st design lab also will be unveiling its innovative tree-shaped bookshelf. The shape emulates the quintessential form of nature into your indoors. The lacquered piece of furniture makes it a timeless design to add elegance to your home interiors.

The Milan fair is though yet to kickstart , but we have also told you about the KOS minipool, Ovo sauna and Dror and Tumi’s transforming luggage in more of what will debut at the biggest design fair.
