Accommodation: Sara’s home offers 1,450 square feet of living space and has been equipped with three bedrooms, living room, a modern kitchen fitted with state of the art electronic appliances, a small dining area and three bathrooms. The garage can fit in two big cars simultaneously and the house is enclosed by a beautiful small sized well maintained garden.

Features: The entire house is protected from the harsh Californian climate by a powerful centralized air conditioner and its rooms have been decorated with expensive modern furniture. The singer has also installed a sunken hot tub along with a fire pit in the outdoor portion of the house.

Neighborhood: Famous Hollywood personalities like actress Kate Beckinsale and actor Alec Baldwin own residences in the immediate vicinity of Bareilles’s home.

Sara has participated in several fund raising activities to support this charity which was founded by fitness industry leader Augie Nietos and his wife Lynne. The campaign has raised millions of dollars for the Muscular Dystrophy association's ALS division till now. The NGO's mission is focused on discovering cures and treatments for ALS as presently no cure exists for this dreaded disease. Patients suffering from ALS receive superior quality treatment at more than 35 MDA clinics. The organization raises awareness for this disease through a combination of tactics like public appearance, press interviews and speaking engagements.

The artist has campaigned a lot for this charity. Since its inception in 1997 the nonprofit organization’s core aim has been to improve the quality of education in the public schools of U.S.A by restoring instrumental music education programs across the country. The foundation raises public awareness about the benefits of music participation for the young generation ever since it started. The organization has always remained completely focused on the noble mission of ensuring that each and every American child has access to a decent education in life along with a sound musical tutorial.

Bareilles wore the stylish lace dress to one of her concerts. It features 80% nylon, 20% viscose with ¾ sleeves, zip-fastening at the back and is fully lined at the body. The garment is available in select colors and when complemented with a cross-body bag provides a retro inspired look.
