Sean Parker

Sean Parker, an Internet technology visionary and entrepreneur, has achieved so much already that it is hard to fathom the fact that he is barely 32 years of age at the moment. Parker most famous for co-founding Napster in 1998 that literally ripped apart the music industry. Parker made most of his $2.1 billion fortune as the co-founder and first President of Facebook. His exploits in the company are well documented in the movie The Social Network. In 2005, he was forced to leave the company amidst charges of illegal possession of cocaine. It wasn’t the first instance of Sean Parker challenging the law. At the age of 16, he was sentenced to community service for hacking. Presently, he is on the Board of Directors for Spotify, a Swedish music site in which Parker has reportedly invested $15 million. For all the money that he has made for himself, Parker knows how to spend it as well. A lover of good life, he maintains an enviable collection of elegant white shoes and a wardrobe full of Tom Ford suits. Among his other prized possessions is a $100,000 Tesla electric sports car which he hardly finds time to drive. Of late, he has shown keen interest in politics. Parker along with his friend Ron Conway has produced a music video promoting San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee for the upcoming elections. In addition, he has donated $100,000 to an independent campaign supporting Ed Lee. The Facebook co-founder has also given $100,000 to push for the legalization of cannabis in California.
