A dozen of other companies including three RAI public channels and Italy’s three biggest private TV stations come under Silvio’s umbrella. Silvio was accused of numerous criminal activities including – bribery, corruption, abuse of power, paying a minor for sex and fraud. The glamour bitten prime minister was also in news for rewarding young showgirls with luxurious cars, rent-free apartments and jobs. Involved in judicial probes related to sex scandals and political scams, the notorious politician was subjected to 2500 court hearings and 174 million Euros in legal fees.
