Socialite Danielle Tarantola gets her pet pooch cloned to keep memories alive
Socialites and the other rich folks have many ways in which they splurge on their pets; the pet hotels and accessories being the most common of the lot. One such hi-tech way in order to keep their memory alive is cloning, which a few pet lovers seem to be splurging on. We have previously told you about episodes like Lancelot Encore cloning, and Peter Onruang cloned dogs, who have managed to recreate their pets after their death through cloning. But the latest to jump on the bandwagon is socialite Danielle Tarantola who got her pet dog ‘Trouble’ cloned for a price of $50,000, from the world’s only dog cloning company based in Korea.

Appealing to most animal lovers around the world, especially dog lovers, the American socialite has indeed indulged in something that will get her more prominence than her regular socializing activities. 3 years ago, she lost her pet pooch, but before it all happened, she managed to get the dog’s DNA preserved and sent to the South Korean company, which specializes in dog cloning. She even thought initially, that it would happen during Trouble’s lifetime, but later declined the idea of having him meet his cloned version meet him during his lifetime. Now that ‘Double Trouble’ (as the cloned one is being called) is here, he has all the amenities in the world to enjoy including the custom made cot with accessories, such as the cushions and pillows that he slept with. The media attention from around the world, including the reality show appearances are also coming along as he now adjusts to his ‘former’ owner once again.

When Trouble was alive, Ms. Danielle also did numerous things such as painting her home’s biggest wall, with the face of her pooch to keep him with her at all times. As she would say, Trouble was cared for in better conditions than what people manage to do with their children, and evidence is indeed plenty for all to see. Now that she enjoys all the attention for her decision, she is known to even plan for the next clone which might be called ‘Triple Trouble’. Now that’s called ‘Pet Love’.
