super sport gyroplane

Historically known as autogiro or gyrocopter, the Gyroplanes have been around since the early 1920s and are touted to be easy to fly, faster than helicopters and possibly safer than anything else in the sky. Check out the Sportcopter’s hotly awaited Super Sport 2-seater, which is currently undergoing flight testing. The Super Sport Gyroplane comes with has a roomier cabin (49″ interior width) for better cockpit management and comfort, and a very generous cargo room behind the seats. The cabin is equipped with forced air ventilation and cabin heat. The handsomely designed instrument panel is efficient and also compact. Its 2.5 liter Subaru engine producing 190hp is able to get the little machine to over 100mph. Other salient specs include incredible suspension, independent steering, castering nosewheel with nose gear suspension, and a low-ratio roto-control system. Super Sport can be taken as a good day tripper, thanks to its range of between 300 and 400 miles from a 30 gallon tank full of ordinary 87 octane unleaded. Very much like the road-registered flying Super Sky Cycle, the gyroplane concept seems to be an exceptional type of simple aircraft touting a combination of highway and skyway use. No words on pricing and availability till the date.
