St.Trop steam shower by Philippe Starck for Duravit
Phillipe Starck, one of the most famous and prolific designers alive, has earlier collaborated with Duravit for its SensoWash range of showers and toilets. This time, he has designed the St.Trop steam shower for Duravit, which boasts Turkish bath functions and occupies only one square meter of surface. Featuring a minimalist make, the Duravit St.Trop shower has its door framed as a large painting. Owing to the same, the inside of the bath shower becomes the canvas depicting all kinds of action – showering with a hand-held or overhead shower, steam showers, taking a Kneipp cure or simply relaxing in soft light.
The stool inside has been ingeniously designed to incorporate the artistic motif and look like a modern sculpture. The steam shower cabin is available in high-gloss white and the aluminum door frame can be ordered in any of 27 different Duravit finishes. The 1000 x 1000 mm large Duravit St. Trop steam shower is available as back-to-wall and as a corner version.
