Swedish high-end audio manufacturer Perfect8 introduces ‘The POINT MKII Evolution’ glass loudspeaker
Dedicated to producing best sounding and luxurious loudspeakers for the real connoisseurs, the Swedish audio manufacturer PERFECT8 which earlier delivered the high-end glass loudspeakers like the 5.1 glass-speaker system and the Glass Center Channel, has now introduced their point source dipole glass loudspeaker system ‘The POINT MKII Evolution’. Unveiled at the CES 2013, where we also saw the launch of Sennheiser’s Momentum Black headphone, SIM2’s $100,000 Fuoriserie projector, the Samsung’s Curved OLED TV, to name a few, this music sculpture of glass has actually been redesigned using a brand new custom air motion transducer optimized for dipole applications. And, the result is micro detail and even higher resolution, offering realism and imaging. Besides, we have also seen some of the other finest glass loudspeaker systems like the Greensound Technology glass speakers, the break-resistant glass speakers, and the Sony Sountina glass speakers.
Designed with a ‘no compromise’ philosophy and using advanced state-of-the-art technology platform, The POINT MKII Evolution features a smaller subwoofer enclosure without making any sort of sacrifice in low frequency response.
Powered by high-end DSP controlled amplifier technology, the 10″ drivers that are almost invisibly integrated into the glass subwoofer enclosure, perfectly match the performance of the dipole panel with deep, extended, ultra controlled, and super tight bass.
This high-end glass loudspeaker impressively exhibits perfect motor control, no cavity resonances or internal vibrations, near-linear off-axis response, seamless treble/mid/bass integration, and unrivaled room interaction.
