After Tag Heuer managed to carve out a total niche for itself in the arena of luxury watches, its latest samples of craftsmanship seems to be inkling towards mobile handsets. We have previously seen some samples like the
Like we mentioned last year, Tag Heuer isn’t something animal lovers would enjoy, but just fashionistas alone. This time, they have used the similar look to black calf leather and yellow gold for a beefed up aesthetic feel, but a new additional as well. The chequered design of carbon fiber makes reappearance along with the leather and yellow gold. This gives it a rather sporty feel on front. Dubbed the Sellier, it’s priced at €5,700 ($7,504) each.
The next in the series in tan colored calf leather coupled with 316L satin brushed stainless steel framing, and white diamond shaped stitching on the rear face. The signature is the padded feel and distinctive large patterns of the leather, and is very aptly categorized into the classic series.
For this, they have extended a similar design to another model with black calf skin and stainless steel option. Though it doesn’t sport the padded appearance like the other models, it does all the sleekness and sharp appearance of the designer brand. Dubbed Classic elegance, the price tag is €6,500 ($8,558) for each.
Inspired by the Automatic Chronograph Caliber 12 watch from back in 1969, which sported an electric blue dial and might blue strap, the Deep Blue limited edition smart phone carries the legacy forward with equal aesthetics. This time, the contrast comes with the sandblasted stainless steel framing with padded dark blue leather fabrication, and also the light blue screws on the frontier of the handset. The sides also feature a cross hatched pattern which adds to the overall beauty. There will be only 150 pieces ever made for sale, with each one having its mark engraved on the back. The pricing for this series is €7,200 ($9,480).
When it comes motor-racing, who would like to stay behind? Tag Heuer has created the all black Racing carbon model that combines the top grade of black rubber used in motor racing, carbon fiber lining, along black alligator leather. The 2 contrasts here are the red stitching on the back, and brush finished stainless steel screws on the front end. The red branding on the frontier also breaks the monotony of the black surfaces. This carries a price tag of €7,900 ($10,402) for each phone.
The Exclusive series of the lot is the most premium offering of the lot. This time its 1004 Wesselton diamonds and mother of pearl which has been coupled with Argentinean leather for fabrication. The way to figure it all out is that there are 700 diamonds in the sides, 185 of them on the rear battery plate, 19 in the side crowns, and 33 diamonds on the rear outer cover. This comes with the glossy lizard leather which has a different pattern and forms a rather sharp contrast to the mother of pearl set on the rear cover. The pricing for this edition is also a premium, with €18,900 ($24,886).
