Tesla Model S is truly a remarkable car, and has also been awarded the 2013 Motor Trend Car of the year. It is a luxury sedan, which is one of the quickest American four-door. It not only is fast and agile, it also responds almost instantly and smooth and effortless to say the least. The car is driven by electricity using an AC-induction type. The basic principles of the motor lies with the ones demonstrated by the genius Nicola Tesla himself , which the car is named after. Base priced at over $78,000 USD, the car might seem slightly pricey, but the gas saved and environment cared surely makes it up.

The Exterior:

The Tesla model S is elegant to say the least, the paint colors are bright and have incorporated a unique shine to the finish. The long body of the sedan is accentuated with the smooth and curvy lines that adorn the body, providing a sleek look.  The front is nicely designed and elevated in accordance with aerodynamics. The headlamps are modern and sharp, providing a front that resembles a car that is built for speed. The back is slightly elevated and except the logo and the model name there is nothing special as a signature. Large backlights and large number plates try to make the absence of exhausts not too much to notice. The back looks somewhat similar to hatchbacks in appearance. The car is mounted on 21-inch alloy wheels that accentuate the look and feel of a sports sedan.

The cabin is spacious, the car’s rear hatch and the front hood both allow space for luggage. The fully aluminium body Tesla Model S, comes with the option of five doors and also seven seats. Active air suspensions take care of a lot of things including the car’s ground clearance. The vented disc brakes are of 14 inch and 14.4 inch for the front and rear tyres. ABS is a standard feature. The brakes are good and the car can halt from 60 mph within 124 feet. Dual front and front side air bags with curtain and front knee air bags are standard.
