360 degree kitchen
We have earlier seen best of the hi-tech kitchens, which are designed to consume little space in the home including the ’360°’ kitchen. One such “form follows function” concept that provides the 360-degree experience, is the ’360°’ kitchen created by German designers Farziska Winter, Katrin Sillmann, Ulrike Sandner at DMY international design festival Berlin 2010. Besides the studio apartments, the kitchen can perfectly serve as an outdoor kitchen. The flexible mobile kitchen unit is divided into different working areas for “cooking,” “eating” and “cleanup.” By using a pivoting point in their design, different functional areas of the kitchen are given greater accessibility. The unit integrates a refrigerator, sink, rack, electrical outlet, trash cans, storage area and access to water under any condition.
