Kate Middleton has already left her family home for the last time as a singleton, and she will be spending the night before the wedding day tomorrow at the Goring Hotel in central London. She will be staying there with her sister and chief bridesmaid Pippa and parents Michael and Carole. Since she isn’t a commoner anymore, we don’t expect her to stay in a regular hotel room. The royal bride-to-be will moved into the five-star £5,000-a-night ($8,500-a-night) Royal Apartment on the top floor of the Goring Hotel.

To make sure Kate experiences the best in luxury, the rooms were given a £150,000 makeover. The hotel staff has put more than 20 bouquets in the suite to welcome her arrival. The flowers, including white and red freesias, Eucharist lilies and roses, have come from Jenny Tobin Flowers, who has earlier provided flowers for films such as Love Actually and Sense And Sensibility.

Inside Kate Middleton Singleton’s suite, there is a dark wood four-poster bed with a pop-up television that appears with the touch of a button. A bathroom inside the lavish suite features a spacious walk-in shower with an oil painting behind a glass screen. Another bathroom comes with a waterproof TV built into the bath.

The suite at the Goring Hotel has been filled with antiques, hand-made furniture and ornaments to bring in that royal feel. Gainsborough silk costing £500 per square meter covers the walls. The main sitting room has two brown velour sofas, a pair of bronze statues of women holding Statue of Liberty-style torches and a ‘20s Art Deco chandelier.

The drawing room of the Royal Apartment has a grand piano, and it offers magnificent views over the London skyline. The Middletons have booked all the 71 rooms inside the Goring Hotel for their family and friends.
