If you are not getting what the floating thing in the picture is, then let me amaze you, this is a 'Fabulous Floating Inflatable Villa' designed by Luis Pons as a reaction against the McMansion culture of Miami real estate.
The 30 foot high floating estate is moored at Aqua, on Allison Island until December 4. The floating pavilion is a 900 square foot structure offering panoramic bay-views. The structure is highlighted with white lighting throughout its columns and dome, to make it visible at night. The mind-blowing PVC villa is empty from inside and is a critical response to the real estate boom and the insensitive way of architure carried on by architects that do not take environment into account! The floating villa will be kept inflated by a generator and transported by a flatbed barge to various other locations.
