Tonino Lamborghini launches new luxury phones and a tablet for the uber-rich
Reinterpreting the historic values and iconic symbols which truly characterized his family, Tonino Lamborghini, the son of the legendary Italian industrialist Ferruccio Elio Arturo Lamborghini, is known for breathing life into a new prestige merchandising brand. Drawing inspiration from his previous experiences in the field of engineering and design, Tonino has extended the concept of luxury to products like Raging Bull smokes, the designer chess set, and cigar lighters and cutters. Marking the brand’s 30th anniversary of the fashion line, Tonino Lamborghini earlier launched Spyder Supreme Diamond cell phones, and has now introduced three new luxury phones and an Android tablet for Russians with deep pockets.

Two of the luxury handsets are feature phones while the third is an Android powered smartphone.
Also known as the Spyder, the Lamborghini TL688 features a 2-inch QVGA display with 240 x 230 pixels resolution, a 3MP camera on backside of phone that captures high-quality video, a front facing camera, 4 GB of internal memory and 2nd generation network support of GPRS/EDGE.

This hand-made phone that comes with a gold plated case will cost $1,829 to $2,134.

TL820 Spyder 2, the second novelty sports 2.4 inch display with 640 x 480 pixels, 5MP rear facing camera and a VGA shooter in front, 1GB of internal memory which is expandable by another 16 cards with T-Flash, 2.5 mm audio jack and a 1200 mAh battery.

The phone also works in the network of 2nd and 3rd generations. Also made by hand, this phone with gold-plated case will cost $2.438.

Priced at $2,750, the Lamborghini TL700 smartphone comes equipped with a Sapphire Crystal 3.7 inch WVGA display and with a Qualcomm processor.

The phone features 4GB of native memory, a 5MP camera on the rear and a VGA shooter on the front, and is powered by 1400mAh battery. Made with use of crocodile skin and gold-plating, the phone is powered by 2.3 Android.

Speaking about the Lamborghini L2800 tablet, the device powered by a 1.2 GHz unknown Qualcomm processor offers 9.7 inch LED-backlit scratch-proof sapphire crystal display and a resolution of 1024 x768, along with 512 Ram and 4B of native memory.

The tablet also sports 2MP front-facing and 5MP rear-facing cameras. Though, the tablet priced at $2,268 is not gold-plated, but it does sports the Lamborghini name on it, which is worth of every penny spent.

However, there is no information on the releasing date of the products as yet.
