The mansion which was a little too much for its original owner, Larry Dean was on the market for seventeen years, before Tyler Perry bought it in 2010 for $ 7.6 million, which is far below its asking price of $40 million. However, Tyler has different plans and wants to replace the outrageous mansion into a more humble, life-like eco-friendly home.  

Location: The property is located at the Old Alabama Road in Georgia, U.S. The 58-acre estate, with 1,200 feet of Chattahoochee River frontage, is in the Johns Creek area of North Atlanta.

Features: Dean Garden, which is or was one of the largest homes in Atlanta City, is anything but a usual home. Spread over 32,000 square feet, the 15 bedroom house comes with an 18-hole golf course, amphitheater and wedding chapel. It requires a hefty maintenance to the tune of $1.5 million annually. Notorious as a pink elephant for its huge maintenance costs, the home has bathrooms which had  24 karat gold sink, which alone cost its original owner, Larry Dean $88,000.

Splashed with shades of pink all over its exteriors and interiors, the home is often described by Dean as his legacy.   However the running cost, which runs into millions, is what forced him to sell the home. Larry Dean’s dream home took 4 years and approximately $30 million to build. Larry and his wife made sure that the mega-mansion had everything that even closely resembled luxury in any form.

Accommodation: The 32,000-square-foot Neo-Classical mansion was built in 1992. The home has different themed suits, like Moroccan rooms, Egyptian suites, Oriental suites and French bedrooms.   The master suite is itself built on 3000 square feet space and is accentuated by hand crafted doors and panels. The estate also has a guest house, caretaker’s house, green-keeper’s house and a man-made lake complete with fountain. It also features two carriage-house apartments. 

Teyler Perry owns a massive mansion in Los Angeles which is currently on the market for an asking amount of $13.5 million.

Neighborhood: California is home to many celebrities and the mansion is built amongst some of the finest estates in the city. 

Tyler perry has a grand estate in Goergia which he calls the Avec Chateau, a French phrase that means "with home," Perry says about the home, “"I wanted this house to be vast. I wanted to make a statement, not in any grand or boastful way, but to let people know what God can do when you believe."

Accommodation: The mansion is spread in the area of 16,000 square feet. It has two "prayer gardens," at the rear, a man-made waterfall, tennis court and an amphitheater. The 6 bedroom residence includes a vast 4,000 square foot master suite The interiors are as powerful and as charming as the outside. The dominant theme is medievalism with a life-sized knight in shining armor "guarding" the large double door. 

Tyler Perry has been lucky enough to turn his favorite hobby into a job. He had an a passion for acting from a long time.

Tyler Perry has a pet named Aldo. Aldo is a two-year old German Shepherd breed of dog. Perry always wanted to take care of a living creature but couldn't manage time for that due to his busy schedule. But, when he got Aldo, he felt a true sense of happiness of doing what he always wished to do. He regularly takes it for a walk and spend merry time with him.

Tyler Perry owns a Gulfstream III. It is well equipped with the luxury features such as a 42-inch HD LCD screen, multiple Blu-ray players, satellite TV, theater lighting, and electronically controlled window shades. It also includes the iPod docking stations for music, ports for computer video, and additional 20-inch and 10.2-inch personal HD screens.
