Urwerk’s New Limited Edition Watches For 2006

Urwerk took design inspiration from deep space, powerful rockets and sleek jets which reflect very clearly in his watches. The Geneva watchmaker has recently introduced two new platinum limited edition models to its luxury collection. This stylish Blackbird timepiece (featured here) is modeled on the sleek lines of world’s first stealth jet, Lockheed’s SR-71- aka Blackbird. The black PE-CVD coated, platinum timepiece has a higher scratch resistance than PVD and is harder due to its amorphous hydrogenated carbon structure. Urwerk has also introduced the new UR-103.03 timepiece that represents a further development of the UR-103 in both ways mechanically and visually.
