World’s most expensive billboard by Skydive Dubai costs $1.3 billion
Every now and then, the world’s most luxurious city with inspiring ambition, Dubai, gets something very extraordinary to add to its prestige. From the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa that also offered the world’s highest fine-dining restaurant At.mosphere, to the world’s tallest hotel, the JW Marriot Marquis Hotel, Dubai is the place for things that rules the world. And, this time Dubai is host to world’s most expensive billboard for Denver-based Go Fast Sports and Beverage Company and Skydive Dubai, featuring a man actually flying around it with a jet pack, and costing anything around whopping $1.3 billion, only if it operated for a month.
Most of the hefty amount is paid for the billboard’s most energetic and active element, a man in a jet-pack flying around for 20 to 30 odd seconds before landing straight on the most expensive billboard in downtown Dubai. Promoters actually arrived at the staggering figure of $1.3 billion by multiplying the $500-a-second they states it costs for the special jet-pack flight by 30 days.
Backed by the world renowned real estate powerhouse Emaar Properties, Skydive Dubai offers extraordinary skydiving tours over one of the most breathtaking views over the world, the Dubai skyline. While the brand Go Fast supports the incredible lifestyle of extreme sports enthusiasts. Truly, it’s a match made in very expensive heaven on earth.
However, this initiative is truly an example of showcasing Dubai as a world leader in technology and innovation.
