Earlier at Valentine’s Day this year, well-known auction house Christies in Geneva declared an auction of the world’s most expensive heart-shaped diamond. The diamond weighs56 carats and dazzles in pure white color. The diamond that was a part of renowned
auction house’s Magnificent Jewels collection was expected to be sold from $9 million to $12 million but managed fetch only $10 million and became the most expensive heart-shaped diamond ever sold at auction.
2. Heart shaped diamond at Sotheby’s Australia
The next most expensive heart-shaped diamond ever sold at an auction is said to be the sold at Sotheby’s Australia. The stunning heart-shape white diamond weighs 8.19 carats and is an exclusive single piece of jewelry sold at an auction in Australia. The diamond
was expected to fetch between $350,000 and $500,000 and earned $450,000 from the sale.
